Applicable modes:
Recording still pictures while recording motion
pictures
Still pictures can be recorded even while recording a motion picture.
During motion picture recording, press the shutter button fully to record a
still picture.
The camera records a picture with the right lens during recording of a motion picture
with the left lens.
Make sure that your fingers are not over either of the lenses.
You can perform burst recording while recording a motion picture.
When set to [ ], settings will automatically be [ ].
When set to [ ] or [ ], focus will be fixed to the settings for the first picture.
Note
You can record up to 6 pictures per motion picture recording.
Simultaneously recorded still pictures will be recorded in an aspect ratio of [W], and picture
size of [9M].
Because the motion pictures and still pictures are recorded with separate left and right lenses,
the angle of view in the motion picture and still pictures may not match.
The camera may take a few moments to focus before recording the picture.
Recordable pixels, picture quality and recordable number of pictures are displayed by pressing
the shutter button halfway.
Zooming will stop when a picture is recorded while zooming.
Operation sound of the shutter button and the lens may be recorded when a picture is taken
during motion picture recording.
The flash setting is fixed to [Œ].
When using the built-in memory, pictures taken when taking a motion picture will not be
recorded.
You cannot record pictures during 3D motion picture recording.
