Setting Day/Night Mode
You may wish to use the unit as a telephone and facsimile during the business hours and switch to
the answering device during off hours.
With this feature on, the unit automatically switches from TEL/FAX mode to ANS/FAX mode at a
preprogrammed time without the operator’s assistance.
Press the PROGRAM button.
The display shows “P- ”.

The display shows “P-F18 2”.
Press 1 to turn on the Day/Night Mode.
Setting selections are:
1: ON (activate this feature)
2: OFF (deactivate this feature)
Press the SET button.
The display shows P-F18 12-00’
Enter the time at which the TEL/FAX mode starts.
Example: The TEL/FAX mode start time is 8:00AM.
Press 08 and 00.
AM or PM is alternately selected by pressing-)f.
The display shows P-F18 08-00".
Press the SET button.
The display shows P-F18 12-00”.
