Auto Export

"Auto Export" quickly exports video from specified inputs to a CD, DVD, hard drives, or removable drives.

If you want to create a proﬁle that can be used on q

the "Event Linking" page, click the [New] button.

Otherwise, skip to step 10 on the following page.

Enter a Name for the proﬁle. w

Select a "Minutes Before" value, which is the e

amount of video that occurred before the "Auto

Export" was started that should be included in the

export.

Select a "Minutes After" value, which is the r

amount of video that occurs after the "Auto

Export" was started that should be included in the

export. This can be useful when an event of inter-

est is still occurring.

Select the destination of the export ﬁles from the t

"Export Path" drop-down list. All local Windows

drives, and USB drives should be listed. (Windows

shared directories are not listed.) The correct ﬁle

extension will be added automatically.

If you choose a drive, enter a name for the drive in y

the "Export Name" ﬁeld. If you want to generate

different automated names for each export, you

can enter {date format} and any combination of

the following variables:

%a weekday abbrev

%A weekday name

%b month abbrev

%B month name

%c full date/time

%d day of month

%H hour (24h format)

%I hour (12h format)

%j day of year (001-366)

%m month (01-12)

%M minute

%p AM/PM

%S second

%U week of year (start Su)

%w day of week (Su=0, Mo=1)

%W week of year (start Mo)

%x date (xx/xx/xx)

%X time (xx:xx:xx)

%y last 2 digits of year

%Y year (20xx)

%Z time zone abbrev.

%% percent symbol

For example, you could enter {date format = "video

automatically exported on %x at %X"} or simply

{date format = "%H, %M, %S, %x"}.
